Women's Fertility

Fertilty acupuncture has been handed down since 1500 BC. It has proven to be well suited to treat gynecological disorders. Acupuncture adjusts the thyroid gland and reduces hormone disregulating neurotoxins. When trying to conceive, it is essential for women to have strong blood and regulated menstrual cycles. TCM focuses on strengthening communication between the organs and uterus in order to nourish and protect the blood.

Men's Fertility

Acupuncture has proven itself useful in the final maturation step that allows sperm to increase in both motility and concentration. This strengthens sperm and prepares it for the female reproductive system. Acupuncture has the ability to increase blood circulation and nerve conduction within the male reproductive organs. The best time for men to get fertility acupuncture is a few hours before attempting to conceive.

Pregnancy Care

Acupuncture provides a means of communication within the neural networks of both mom and baby together. Acupuncture has scientifically proven that it stimulates the cellular level, neurological system, and reproductive-endocrine connections. Babies in utero have a fondness for Moxibustion due to it's warming nature. Moxa is a type of heat therapy that has the ability to regulate blood pathways between mom and baby while strengthening the adrenals. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are safe methods of treatment during pregnancy that offer a gentle non-invasive route.

Labor & Delivery

Science has proven that acupuncture stimulates the release of prostaglandins and cortisol from the baby meanwhile pumping oxytocin to the mother. Essentially this gives acupuncture the ability to safely induce labor. During inductions it has been found that stimulating acupuncture points linked to the uterus can change bio-electrical pain responses. Acupuncture helps to improve blood flow and alleviates pain during labor and delivery. Having acupuncture during the birthing process can reduce birth trauma within the central nervous system and lowers risk of tearing and  postpartum depression.

Postpartum Care

It is known that it can take each woman up to 7 years to recover from having a baby. To clarify, that's 7 years per pregnancy, even if you've had a miscarriage. The journey of conception, pregnancy, labor, delivery, and breast feeding can all place a heavy demand on a woman's blood network and hypopituitary adrenal axis. Acupuncture stimulates the thyroid signalling systemically that it is time to heal. Acupuncture and cupping are beneficial for supporting lactation and repairing tears or c-section scars. TCM can regenerate blood, soothe adrenals, and regulate hormones creating a foundation for recovery for moms.
